Update
Going forward, the discussion threads for this show are not going to get generated automatically. Instead, they can be requested via a private message to the bot using the standard procedure. Some clarifications:
Original post:
Like was mentioned last week, this show doesn’t become widely available until Sunday, but does air a couple days early on the Abema streaming service in Japan. This means that it tends to become available on the high seas prior to the official broadcast. The api that the bot uses has the Abema release as the broadcast time, thus the post is being created now. If this thread sits fallow for a couple days before people can watch the episode, then I just might take over and manually create posts for this show going forward at a time when the episodes are available for people to watch.
If you are looking for something to hold you over, then check out my post about episode 1 and learn about how this show is really just repackaged Tennessee Williams (not really, just goofing around).
That sounds tortured.
Maybe you should take a poll on when people would like the threads to be posted: Abema time or Official time?
Yeah, it has been 2 days now without any comments from people, so I think I will change the way posts are made for this show going forward. I think a compromise solution is to not have the posts get automatically created, but allow the thread to be requested by a user at a time when they are ready to comment on it.
I am going to write a top level comment on it to hopefully clarify things.
Clarified things. I just edited the top level post I had already made. The manual interventions on my part are pretty simple with this arrangement and less work than what I was doing for Dungeon Meshi previously.
I’m curious, do you watch the raws? How good is your understanding of Japanese?
Or are the early releases dub/multi-dub?
I don’t watch the raws, just saw on AniList that it comes out early on Abema. The early releases are only in Japanese without subs, but some fangroups will produce MTL subs ahead of the official broadcast that happens on Sundays.
As for my understanding of Japanese, it is pretty basic, probably somewhere between N5 and N4 level. My vocab is probably on the higher end of that scale and then my grammar is probably on the lower end if I am honest as I struggle with studying grammar.
There are first day English sub releases on the high seas. Multilingual on the official broadcast day.
