    um “brutal and ruthless kidnappers willing to go to extreme measures to reach their monthly quota of new military recruits”? that’s a quite a change in tone from reporting about ukrainian war effort two years ago… looks like it’s backstabbing time.

      The reality:

      He learned to suppress his emotions. If he survives the war, he’ll become (if not one already) some form of addict, abuse those in his life, and liberals will generalize it out as “generational trauma”, removed from the context of imperialism.

    Absolutely horrifying to imagine being abducted to serve a cause that nearly all your compatriots are already fed up with.
