    With just the headline this concerned me with yet another example of how close this election looks like. However, looking deeper its actually a positive sign for Harris.

    I remember from 20 years or so seeing the video of the small groups of families coming in to vote on national television. Dixville Notch isn’t the town it was. 20 years ago the population was 49 people. source

    Today, as noted in the article, there were only 6 ballots cast. Further, zero of those voters are Democrats. From the article:

    “The group – composed of four registered Republicans and two registered undeclared voters – remained split in their decision for president.”

    So the best case for Republications was both undeclared voters as well as only one registered Republican voted for Harris, giving the tie. At worst, 3 registered Republicans all voted for Harris.

    This is good news.
