In the 2020 election cycle, I recall looking into the background of the available candidates and being disappointed with what I had found on Kamala Harris. The linked article is an example of what a lot of left-leaning media was saying at the time about “Cop-mala”.

Since Biden has now withdrawn and Kamala is the presumtive nominee I’ve seen a few op-eds that have tried to contextualize Harris’s record as a prosecutor as fairly progressive for it’s time.
