It only puts Democrats in a bind if they continue to be corporate lapdogs - if they respond with outrage at the treatment of workers it’ll work in their favor.
Guess which one I expect Democrats to do?

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.
Questions which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.
Asking someone to explain Sealioning is Sealioning and bait - in case you’re legitimately ignorant here’s Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sealioning
Trump can’t seem to stop talking about fucking windmills can we just send them every clip and news article of that windbag entirely unlabeled?
Absolutely, but it’s important to measure lies by their impact - this is a rather irrelevant lie while “Hatians are eating your pets” caused an outbreak of xenophobia and domestic terrorism.
Both are bad - one is clearly worse.
This requires, first, that Trump suck all the media oxygen out of the air so Harris has fewer opportunities to define herself positively.
Americans who have become overwhelmed by the chaos are tuning out politics altogether, especially in swing states where political advertising is nonstop. And as they tune out both Trump and Harris, Trump is the beneficiary, because, again, he’s the devil they know.
In other words, Trump is running neck-and-neck with Harris not despite the mess he’s created over the last few weeks but because of it.
As always, Robert Reich delivers salient points…
He still does get the lion’s share of attention and he uses that continuous outrage cycle to delay getting negative attention from it.
I do somewhat disagree with this though:
Another is that the media is intentionally creating a nail-bitingly close race in order to sell more ads. But this can’t be right because, if anything, more Americans appear to be tuning out politics altogether.
Americans are tuning it out - but the media is really fucking slow to respond to shit so they’re continuing to play into the outrage ad strategy.
As a meta aside - please don’t use amp links.
Party at DeSantis’s mansion!
Like father like son.
Go ahead, Vance - lose the shit out of that debate!
The US (at least by executive order which can always be rescinded) has an official policy not to assassinate foreign leaders:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_11905
(See also EO 12036 and EO 12333 for confirming the policy)
Placing a bounty on Putin would probably violate that EO…
More importantly, the US is really fucking hoping Putin dies of old age or is voted out domestically because direct confrontations may result in Putin pushing ze button and launching ze nukes.
If more than half the country is insane then America is an insane country. The number of insane people seems to be around 35% right now - but if it did get above 50% then, well, we’re fucked. Do we admit America is a failed state or do we form an authoritarian liberal government to steer the population correctly inspite of the popular will.
That’d be a fucking hard question and I hope we don’t get there - as long as possible I’d like to believe in democracy.
Fuck this kind of political gamesmanship. We need ranked choice so fucking bad.
Yes. We had a cat that’d sit with us when we weren’t feeling well. If you were lying in bed with a migraine he’d snuggle in and rest his chin on your forehead. He could tell when we were ill and would always settle in with us including missing mealtime.
I don’t know about smiling but cats and dogs absolutely feel emotion and affection.
Form out of band relationships with coworkers you trust to get a base going then send an email to everyone from your department from an anonymous email address to solicit feedback and organize a vote.
Unions are legal in all occupations. There may be restrictions on some form of collective action (i.e. the government can force strikers back to work) but organizing is never illegal.
Right now I’m in BC. All my wilds are already on fire.
Come on and slam! And welcome to the jam!
I feel like Walz will be able to call Vance on whatever bullshit he’s peddling… but not having a neutral fact checker is a terrible idea.
Spain and Portugal are pretty swell. We’ve been looking at Iberia as a potential option.
And that’s why I make art completely without instruction or man made tools. I actually independently developed cellphones and English purely to dunk on people on the internet.
