4 months agoThat’s an overall accurate analysis, but more leftists have dropped out than centrists. A number of centrists refused to drop out, leading to far right seats rather than leftists.

301·4 months agoYou know in the game Secret Hitler when the board has sufficiently advanced into fascism that it becomes strategic for the liberals to vote fascism and unlock a bullet? Honestly makes me think of that.
Not saying this is what needs to happen. I honestly don’t know how americans can do to get out of their quagmire.

That’s not a “majority of voters”, that’s a “majority of people who report to know what they want”. These are not the same populations.
There has been quite some history between the revolution and the current labor rights… specifically five changes in political system including four republics and two empires. The first republic was probably less ideal than you imagine.
Some people use quotes for emphasis, though. So, not sure if this faculty’s on our side.
