Unless you’re planning on installing the panels yourself, the price is actually going up now because the labor component of the installation is growing faster than the equipment prices are declining. Furthermore, many utilities are trying to enact regressive metering policies that will make ROI nearly impossible to achieve over the life of the panels.
The best time to install was the year the IRA was signed into law. The second best time is now.
How do you know if someone is a Linux user? Don’t worry, they’ll tell you. Lump them in with Vegans and Crossfitters.
My friend ordered an omelette without the eggs before, and it worked. A server wouldn’t sell me a double shot of Jager because it was “too much alcohol” but had no problem selling me two single shots at once.
All depends on how accommodating your server is.
All the death from COVID was just “fun crazy”, eh?
That’s plan, not actual. I somehow doubt it’ll even reach that level; it’s trying to save face with investors.
While the tech is impressive, I’m surprised Apple didn’t do enough research beforehand to understand if there’s a market for chunky $3500 computer goggles. None of this is really new tech, and I’m sure the sentiment isn’t hard to find.
Lemmy moment. Isn’t federation great?
Given what I know about Senator Warren and her political career, especially the fact that she is one of the very few that isn’t actually doing it despite the opportunity and is trying to prevent it at the same time? Yeah, I’m pretty sure.
I think you’re confusing her with Nancy Pelosi.
Elizabeth Warren has introduced legislation to prevent members of Congress from trading stocks.

You’re right. But, the Fediverse is ActivityPub, and Threads is using ActivityPub, therefore Threads is part of the Fediverse.
The beauty of the Fediverse is you can defederate from whoever you want. But don’t confuse that with thinking that you can change the definition and rules of what the Fediverse is.
Simultaneously infuriating and perfect.
You didn’t watch the State of the Union speech, huh?
Since Twitter is now private, we’ll never know the real numbers, but the paper value of the Twitter brand itself being cast aside is a huge non-monetary loss.
I quite like the originals. While I’m big fan of spicy stuff (I get one level down from maximum spicy at a local Indian place), I tried x2 and saw a glimmer of what people might like about it, but it was a step too far for me, where it lost flavor for the sake of spiciness. x3 has got to be straight battery acid. I don’t know how any human can buy those saying “Yep, this is the level I enjoy.”
