Also, being a treasonous front for Russian political interference didn’t help their cause

Canada says “High”. we don’t have a functional mental health solution and it’s only gotten worse. And while we do have gun crime, it’s nowhere near the same as our southern neighbour because of our gun restrictions and we don’t Fetishize gun culture.
Mental health IS part of the problem. But the insane culture around owning firearms in the US directly leads to the prevalence of gun crime.
Religions don’t tend to spring up from nowhere.
Let me introduce you to our good friend Ronald Hubbard and this pesky Religion called “Scientology”
I don’t do difficult games cause of physical issues. I tried Elden Ring and was very impressed, but ultimately it was unplayable for me even trying to go easy.
What do you recommend cheat wise? I’m running on Linux and I really don’t care about online.
If we’re lucky, Steamdeck verified will also mean it’ll run fine on linux.
The amount of data that has come out in the year since it’s launch has jumped mankinds knowledge of the cosmos forward by leaps and bounds.
it’s also further shown us just how little we know.
The point of the Deck versus anything else was that it was common x86 architecture and it runs skinned linux, thus letting us have access to virtually all our library.
Moving to ARM based silicon would massively change things in that regard. We don’t want yet another platform to have to worry about ports for. The Steam Deck is a PC and that’s it’s goal
I don’t want a Steam Deck 2. I want Steam Deck to live up to the upgradability and customizability that Valve had originally empasized for it.
It would be amazing to be able to just swap the main board for a GPU update. on the OG deck, it’s the single biggest bottleneck I run into. (for docked gaming on a big screen). Plus a better GPU would allow it to run cooler when only doing 720p and quieter on the fan.
but, Id on’t want to buy another Steam Deck :p
I rarely touch the App store to “find” something. If I discover I need an App for something, that’s when I just go grab it from the App store.
Trying to peruse the App Store is a nightmare. there are numerous things wrong with it, especially the rating systems and how ratings keep certain apps constantly in everyone’s faces, despite getting horrible recent reviews.
Can’t have that. Might hurt profits somewhere. A big insurance company here just removed one of the drugs from coverage inexplicably.
Makes you wonder why despite a doctor prescribing it for weight loss, the insurance company can go ahead and just, nope out. and what motivation do they have to keep people fat?
I made it through until Win11 announced (Had to because of work). Once 11 was announced I just said fuck it, and have been Linux since.
I no longer have any computers in my house running windows except a 10 year old Laptop that is available for the really weird and off windows requirements (like ESPHome programming)
That gallery both doesn’t know the Streissand affect, AND true art. All they’re now doing is helping spread it.
really REALLY boneheaded.
You know it’s some asshole artist on the wall who complained that his art “devalued” his in some way and demanded retribution.
Not if bought on the open market already.
The company only receives money on IPO. after that, shares the trade private hands only profit the owner of the share.
still, wouldn’t want to give any of these people money for their shares. let them ride them to 0 and trump media shuts down.
So, I’m not American so this seems like a weird gripe to me based on the question:
Do American elections base the persons place of vote where they are living, or where they come from?
My point was about how he became that rich, compared to other people with similar parents money, if he is a complete idiot.
You’re lack of understanding about this doesn’t constitute others arguing in a fallacious matter. We are not arguing a strawman but explaining to you HOW Musk got to where he was. Which is in SPITE of his intelligence, not because of it.
You’re arguing your own fallacy based on your own lack of ability to grasp concepts. Congradulations, you’re guilty of Personal Incredulity fallacy:
this is such a fun image from the other day of Musk’s blatant hypocrisy and how his cult of personality has allowed his minions to ignore reality.
My point was about how he became that rich, compared to other people with similar parents money, if he is a complete idiot.
But you’re still wrong. Lots of people who inherited money grew their wealth, without the need to have their face in the media constantly.
the reason we see so much of Musk is because he purposely puts himself in the public. There are more billionaires than just Musk who have grown their wealth without you ever knowing their names. Arguably, there are far FAR more of these no-name billionaires than the Musk type.

some examples.
As other’s have said, He has used his inheritance to create momentum and a cult of personality around himself, which has helped him make money despite being proven time and time again to be a business idiot.
So Far, He has been removed from Paypal by the board for bad leadership. He was removed from chairman of Tesla for illegal leadership and bad leadership. And all evidence has shown that he has also tanked the value of Twitter.
he has definitely convinced you through his cult of personality that he’s some business genius. Rather than just a loud asshole with lots of money to burn.
He’s been allover the site posting the most inane oppositional comments to verything. Either a bot or paid account.
Yes… Not the point you’re trying to make I guess.
SG isn’t passing any laws. They are making a statement.
