Define “meaningfully”. There have been several different types of innovations in recent years depending on how you look at it.
Mazda made a gas engine that can switch from spark plug ignition to compression ignition. Though I don’t think they brought it to the states.
Nissan made an engine that can vary its compression ratio on the fly. Something no other engine can do to my knowledge.
Hyundai made a cam shaft that can vary the length of time it opens and closes the valves rather than just varying the time that they open.
There’s a company called Speed of Air that designed piston heads that have dimples in them like a golf ball. Those dimples apparently can significantly improve the engine’s power and, more importantly, its efficiency. Though I don’t have a video link talking about that. Just their site.
Porsche also designed a 6 stroke engine. Though I’ll have to watch the video again as I don’t remember much about it.
If you want to get more experimental, someone made something called a rotary vane engine.
People are definitely still trying to find ways to improve the internal combustion engine. It’s just this technology takes time to reach the mainstream, if it ever does.
Edit: Nvm, it’s a pretty short article that doesn’t say much, but it does include pictures of it.

It doesn’t, but with these apps, you can see what information they send back to their servers (if any). If there is no info getting sent back to any servers, then there’s nothing a subpoena can do since there’s no info to subpoena. You can’t obtain info that just isn’t there.
Nope, is just that good looking of a cat. I took these with my DSLR. Here’s another shot.
This is exactly why I bought a low firmware PS4 to jailbreak. So I can start ripping my PS4 games for this emulator. I am excite.
My brother and I never stopped calling it that. And he owns one himself. Luckily not one that needs a recall.
I need to get me a jailbreakable PS4 so I can start ripping my collection.

Been replaying the R&C games lately. I’m gonna see how much better Deadlocked performs with this big update.
Edit: Deadlocked still has some big slowdowns, but outside of that, it’s perfectly playable; I finished a playthrough earlier today. I know the other 3 main games work well, too. I just need to try Secret Agent Clank and Size Matters.
Sorry, I was referring to the Steam version. I don’t think the Switch version would have it.
The Steam reviews aren’t painting a good picture. That version has poor optimization as well as Denuvo.
Looks like I’ll just play the PS3 remake on RPCS3. That might be the definitive way to play it at the moment.
Should’ve been called Twomba
And Finnlandic
I pushed carts at a big box store for a year in my 20’s. Fucking sucked. In an 8 hour shift you could easily walk 20,000+ steps and walk over 10 miles (GPS verified). And you do it no matter the weather. Pouring rain? Out there. Sweltering heat? Out there. -5F and 6" of snow? Out there.
This work can be brutal, even for a young healthy person, let alone a 90 year old vet.
The worst part? I was paid the exact same wage as the cashiers who stayed inside the entire time. About $10/hr on average in 2017.
Something to keep in mind: Official support for the PS2 was only 12 years. The PS4 is now at 11 years.
It will most likely have a longer officially supported life than the PS2.
Maybe that’s why younger people are getting certain cancers more often than in decades past.
I bought that Saturday morning at full price. No regerts. In 5 days, I dumped about 30 hours into it.
