It’s mostly just this place. You find this tribalist response on a lot of topics here. Other instances aren’t as cultish. Good on you for arguing your case, but it falls on deaf ears. The discourse could use some improvements

Absolutely, no arguments there. In my eyes this just makes repeating the distinction that Jew!=Israelite more important to both combat netanyahu’s rhetoric and antisemitic rhetoric.

I really don’t believe the average person is able to make this distinction, and it indeed makes life for ordinary Jews in far-away countries more dangerous

Jews are increasingly being attacked in other countries since October 7th just for being Jewish. Clearly it’s not just netanyahu who equates Israel with Jews. It doesn’t hurt to remind people that there’s a distinction since clearly not everyone gets it. Israel can be bad and Jews can be attacked - one doesn’t exclude the other

Idk man, Jews have been targeted at least in Germany… i see media reporting over 2000 cases of attacks against Jews. The message by the OP deserves repeating since not everyone seems to have gotten the memo
