Crosscode was incredible, and this is looking equally as great! Really love the pixel art style of this studio - just stunning.

Just a little guy interested in videogames, reading, technology and the environment.
I’m on Telegram - feel free to ask for my details :3

Interesting concept for a card game! I like the parodies of different games, but the cards themselves look a bit dull. Just a logo on a white background for the most part.
Because the pirates are the fans who actually care about the game I suppose.
On one hand, I can kinda understand - translation would be costly for a game that is unlikely to attract new subscriptions.
On the other hand, fans have already translated it - so you’re better off emulating the game lol.
I feel like the Game Boy Camera was quite unique at the time, because not many people had cameras back then. Nowadays nearly everyone has access to a camera on smart devices that are in all likelihood significantly better quality than something Nintendo could affordably release as a peripheral. What benefit would there be to a Nintendo specific product?
It’s a cute idea but realistically I don’t see it happening. There’s nothing stopping you from making videos on your phone and playing around with some free/open source video editing software though!
Fuck yeah - there have been some great homebrew plugins for this, but having a dedicated tool with the ability to trim clips is awesome.
Oh that’s neat! I’ve played Prime 1 before so if I fancy playing it again I’ll try this out. Prime 2 and 3 I’ve never played (well, I did get a little ways into 3 on Wii years back - but I’m planning to start from scratch). Thank goodness for Primehack!
I do love going back to older games! The Steam Deck is particularly great for that. Will take me years to catch up on everything I want to play 😅
I’ve been meaning to play FFIX, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, FF7 Rebirth, Baten Kaitos, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Persona 3 Reload to name a few!
That’s a lot of RPG to get through!
No nothing’s been announced. I’ll probably just emulate them
I recently started Digimon Cyber Sleuth! I’ve never played a Digimon game before but this one has been fun so far. There definitely seems to be more of a push to constantly evolve your mons than Pokémon.
I’ve never played the Mario & Luigi RPG games, but this looks fun. The artstyle is really charming!
Ohhh looks beautiful! I hope it’s good after all the delays. Reminds me, I need to play Prime 2 and 3…
I wasn’t sure what to make of ‘gay furry Mario-like’… But the gameplay actually looks pretty polished - clearly inspired by SMB3! I’ll give the demo a go.
The comments are where the real mildlyinteresting is 👌
Heh, funnily enough I did pretty well back in school. But it’s been quite a while since I’ve learnt this stuff and it’s not something I ever specialised in. And when I did learn it, it was essentially just a series of facts that you had to memorise. ‘The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell’ etc. etc. So the second I passed that exam, I don’t think I ever went back to reinforce those memories.
Hearing about genetic dominance again did give me an ‘ah, of course!’ moment. If you are able to recall everything you learnt in school (including subjects that you may not have had much interest in), then congrats on the impressive memory :)
Ahh thanks, this is all coming back to me now! Despite being a pretty nerdy student, my biology teachers at school didn’t instil much enthusiasm in me for the subject. But the more I learn about it now, the more fascinating I find it.
Do you have any more detail/links about incompatible genes causing mutations?
Oh that’s actually really neat, I had no idea! But it makes a lot of sense
I feel like this is an even trickier task than porting 2 & 3 too. MGS4’s reliance on the weird architecture of the PS3 means you need a powerful CPU to emulate it. Assuming then that it’ll be a port, I imagine the process of porting it would be particularly complex. And seeing how poorly they did with the HD collection it worries me.
