In the darkened boardroom of ShittyStreamingService, the presentation continues:
“…and so we’ve set our price at $15 per month. This is a reasonable price that everyone in our target demographics can afford.”
What the numpties at ShittyStreamingService haven’t considered is that yes, maybe I can afford $15 per month. But I can’t afford it for each of the 7,836 different streaming/music/gaming services!!
I’ve got a random username if the stupid website/app allows it. Most don’t. It has to be your email address.
And a minimum random 20 char password for each website/app. Again if the stupid website/app allows it.
Secure your (I don’t mean you personally) fucking website/app and credentials storage and stop making your weaknesses my problem.
Most places, and all of my stupid financial websites/apps, only have phone/SMS as the second factor. And yet there are plenty of horror stories about people ‘losing’ their phone numbers.
Oh wait. There is one financial site that has developed its own authenticator app. I really expect that to go about as well as storing passwords in cleartext.
Then there’s all the shit websites/apps that I don’t give a fuck about that now insist on having 2FA set up. They’re not interested in the security, it’s just to get your email and phone number to onsell your data to whoever.
It’s fucking security theater.
2FA really stands for
2 FUCKING ANNOYING !!!
All I need is mozilla on android to be able to load local html files.
It’s the only reason I left.
It’s the only reason I will return.
…struggles to lay a glove…
I don’t know much about boxing, but one of them floats like a butterfly, and the other one stinks like a pee…
Without a VPN, your ISP will have some level of meta data. It may be as little as you did a DNS lookup of a pirate site and downloaded 2.14GB of data from that site.
Is that illegal? Depends on what country/state you are in.
I’ve been trying Organic Maps with Android Auto, and am struggling with it.
Search is hit and miss, which I can deal with, but its GPS tracking is wacky. It has Location and Precise Location permissions, but for some reason it’s not as accurate as Google Maps or Sygic - its movement tracking is jerky, it will randomly put me off the road or on another road. And when stopped, it will sometimes point me in the opposite direction or even spin me around a couple of times lol.
It makes it hard to trust ☹️
Wormsign!
And I’ve spent $0 on 19 billion free games that I’m never going to play…
Yeah, I realised that, but couldn’t resist it for the lols.
I think it could score a perfect zero by both not correctly comprehending and being offensive to whoever had the misfortune of marking it.
Artificial satellites? Just for fun, I’m interpreting that as fake communication satellites, so:
'Unlike traditional communication satellites, artificial communication satellites are not launched into space via costly rockets using environmentally unfriendly propellents.
Instead, Artificial Satellite Systems (or ASS) make use of artificial intelligence to communicate via Frequency Adjusted Radio Tower Systems (known as FARTS).
FARTS allow for rapid, ASS to ASS communication. Additionally, Multiplexed Over/Under The Horizon’ allows for increased speeds if ASS to MOUTH is enabled.’
Full Self Driving will be available next year!
Yep, tor me it’s because it requires a Pixel. And specifically poor Pixel battery life.
I value battery life, and every Pixel I check out on gsmarena has an endurance rating < 90h.
For comparison, my current phone’s endurance rating is 113h, and this is why I ended up shopping by chipset. Everything not Snapdragon had poor battery life. (Disclaimer: haven’t looked for a couple of years)
Can’t wait for the first lawsuit for someone growing a tooth out of their dick
Shelter is an android app that helps making sandboxed apps
These look like great swimsuits to wear on a boat.
Because of the implication…
Can they wear some sort of bike shorts or compression shorts/half tights under it?
That would at least cover their hoo haa properly…
Yep, even says in the article ‘destroy or de-identify’. So, they will summarize or transform/anonymize the data and just throw away the source.
What one works for you?
