Persona 3 Portable
This really is the year of the douche and the turd sandwich
I’m an older Gen Z, but same here. I really don’t know that much but can torrent, so people see me as some sort of tech god lol.
My younger sister on the other hand, also Gen z, is so tech illiterate that her downloads folder is a mess and thinks deleting installers will delete the installed program.
Just wanted to say that while I agree with the spirit of your comment, there are so many Nintendo first party titles that barely hit 30 fps, that a power bump would be nice.
I’m not expecting 4k 144 fps, but just hitting a consistent 30 (or call me crazy, 60) would make me very happy. Playing Xenoblade at sub 720p, or Tears of the Kingdom at less than 30, is just unacceptable imo.
I don’t even care about a Switch 2, just give me a Switch Pro or something, something that can play all the available games well.
Tbh once the Steam Deck released I haven’t picked mine up once. Barring grabbing keys and dumping games for emulation.
But tbf I don’t really prioritize Switch exclusives and more used my Switch just to play my favorite games, all of which are on Steam. If I only played Nintendo games it’d be a different story I’m sure.
I haven’t played Minecraft in ages so it actually took me a bit to see the Piglin as a Piglin and not an anime girl
The first time I copied something on my phone and then seamlessly pasted it on my laptop, I was pretty blown away. The integration is a major perk.
Damn, I haven’t seen someone use twinkle toes that brutally since Toph
It’s the same thing. I used to have a Samsung with an always on display and loved it, so I was thrilled when iPhone finally got it after I switched over.
Same deal, OLED screen, you can use it for the clock, date, weather, whatever.
How is ayahuasca? I love the other two, but I had a friend try it and he said he didn’t feel much besides some nausea.
You can bump the resolution, so that’s not an issue. The only problem is, depending on the game, higher resolutions will be harder to run.
So actually it’ll usually look better than the Switch. Same resolution or higher, with graphics options to make it look even better.
Good for her, I went to my younger brother’s graduation and, while happy with the amount of protesting, was disappointed in the student speaker’s speech. It was purposefully vague, not outright saying anything.
Try switching it to launch the windows version through Proton instead of the Linux version. Loads of games work better that way I’ve found, since a lot of the Linux versions don’t get the same level of support.
Some aren’t even that egregious. A game having a launcher, or requiring you to manually bring up the keyboard, for example, keeps it from being verified.
So Monster Hunter Rise, a game that works flawlessly, launched as “playable” because it required you to manually evoke the keyboard when typing your name in character creation.
I’ll tell you that while my modded Switch was easily my favorite system, getting a Deck completely made it obsolete for me. It’s been gathering dust ever since.
Don’t get me wrong, if you’re someone that primarily plays Nintendo exclusives then the Switch is still great. But if you mostly just use it to play your games on the go, and modded it to emulate, the Deck is an easy recommendation.
Plus it’s, imo, the best gateway into PC gaming. It’s reasonably powerful, easy to use, and lets you start building a pc library that will stay with you regardless of new game generations. Free multiplayer and sales are also a nice bonus.
If you’re interested you should look into EmuDeck.
Definitely just verified, the actual number is easily triple that.
Not to mention even tons of unsupported games work perfectly fine.
But even just the fact that we’ve never once heard of him until this entry, and suddenly we’re getting loads of backstory, makes the “reveal” comically obvious.
It has its issues for sure, but the gameplay certainly isn’t one of them (barring the tank sections). I recently played all four games back to back and Knight has by far the most responsive and fluid combat in the series.
Imo the problems are the tank sections, and the story. Overall the story isn’t terrible or anything, but…
The Jason Todd twist was so obvious and had zero build up in any of the prior games. They really should’ve just stuck with Scarecrow and hallucination Joker.
And a lot of people wouldn’t even care
