I’ve seen this ‘z-library seized’ image shared around much prior to this, but I couldn’t find the source

It’s unlikely that this was actually done by the FBI

      This makes so little sense to me. One would think that an app would have a wider user base as well as being easier to take down. All they would need to do is run the app and see where it phones home to, then send a C&D to the distribution platform(s).

        i remember when soap2day was a thing (it was one of the better web ones without downloading that we could easily use on the PS4 without a USB stick etc) they had soapgate.org which would give a list of the current working domains. different domains would go down but until they shut the entire thing down I never saw soapgate change
