Literally never heard of this game before. The PSN account requirement didn’t go over well with helldivers 2 players. Somewhat different scenario because it wasn’t a requirement at launch like this game but still. PC players have little incentive to make that account if they don’t own a console too. So yeah, hard pass from me.
The game seems to have just come out of nowhere, now I’m seeing lots of articles popping up based on how uninterested players are. I don’t know how much interest there is in 5v5 shooter games?
Overwatch 2 is a 5v5 shooter game that’s a lot more mature, free to play, and last I checked still losing players. Valorant is another free 5v5 shooter. The $40 price for this game is a steep hurdle to overcome when some of its competitors are free.

Most people just think the game is bad, i don’t think the PSN hs a lot todo with it
