Any medicine has harmful side -effects, especially in excess of that precise dose, usually calculated on mg/kg basis. That’s why we hear “a drink is one 5 oz serving of non-fortified wine, 1.5 oz 80 proof liquor, one 12 oz beer with (pre-heightened) regular alcohol content.”
