    Probably because some of the screens are defective. I have one and there are lines though it. I’ve never done anything to make this happen. I looked it up on apples forums and it appears others have similar issues.

      Well to be fair, with the number of Apple devices out there, you will always find people with exactly the same hardware issue.

        Agreed. I’m sure it will always exist. This is the first hardware issue I’ve ever had with apple so they have been great overall but it does make me wonder about buying another laptop from them.

          Why? Just pick any random laptop manufacturer, put the name into google and add „broken screen“ and you will find reports of broken screens.

          There is no such thing as a zero issues product.
