    That’s neat! I hope it works on the iPad, too: would be perfect for my nighttime reading, I always wanted to dim the screen a little bit more.

        Doesn’t surprise me! There are so many “hidden” features that I - and many others - only discover after years. Especially things that can be used with an alternative goal outside of the original scope.
