Difficult to say how tall the tree is for those wondering, but quite tall. It was another black cat that scared her up there… Been waiting for her to come down for one hour now… 🙁

Update: Safe and sound on ground level again 🌻

Some few years ago I had my cat Miles Morales outside and he got spooked by one of our dogs who he knows and trusts.

He fled up a tree in the yard and immediately started panicking and howling.

I positioned myself under him and called out and he slowly began climbing down until I could grab him.

Guess he hasn’t been bit by a spider yet.

Next time just bring a speaker and start blasting What’s Up Danger. It’s just a leap of faith.

Best to just leave her be. She’ll climb down when she feels safe to do it.

Yeah indeed, they always make their way down again. And she just did. Just hate having to worry about it ahah as she is still very young.

As long as there’s a series of jumps they can land safely, they’ll get down by themselves. They don’t like to climb backwards. This looks like a good tree for getting down from.

Yeah she got down after a couple of hours, very slowly. But all good now 😊
